Content Planning Made Simple: How to Create 30 Days of Posts in 2 Hours

January is all about fresh starts but most small business owners are already overwhelmed. A brand new year, a long list of goals and then the realisation that you still have to figure out what to post on social media every single day.

You don’t have to.

With the right system, you can create a full month of content in just 2 hours. No more staring at a blank screen, no more last-minute panic posts.

Here’s how it works.

Start with three main themes. These are the pillars of your business: for example, education, behind-the-scenes and promotion. Every post you create should fall under one of these.

Then break those themes into formats. Education might be a tip Reel, a carousel or a blog snippet. Behind-the-scenes could be a TikTok of your workspace or a day-in-the-life. Promotion might be a testimonial, an offer or a case study.

Now, assign each theme to days of the week. For example:

  • Monday = education

  • Wednesday = behind-the-scenes

  • Friday = promotion

That’s three posts a week already planned. Multiply by four weeks and you’ve got 12 pieces of content. Repurpose them across platforms, and suddenly you’ve got 30+ posts in just a couple of hours of planning.

The real trick is to not overthink it. Perfection slows you down. Batching and scheduling means you stay visible without sacrificing your sanity.
